Thomas Swann

Thomas W. Swann, 88, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born November 26, 1926 in Beebe, to Louie and Natalie (Bedell) Swann, and he went to be with the Lord Friday, February 20, 2015. He served in the Nazarene Church for over forty years in various roles of leadership, including Sunday school superintendent. He loved his church, his family and his country. Thomas is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Irene (Bevill) Swann; son, John Thomas and wife Denise Swann of Cabot; two grandchildren, Thomas Ian and wife Heather Swann of Ward and Erin and husband James Jackson of Cabot; great-grandson, Thomas Gage Swann of Ward, who was the apple of his eye; and brother, Bill Swann of Benton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, L. B. Swann.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Summit Hospice and Beebe Retirement Center for their big hearts and tender hands.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015, at Beebe First Church of the Nazarene. Cremation arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
