Thomas Smith
Thomas Allen Smith, 80, of Little Rock, passed away September 10, 2015. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas O. Smith and Mildred L. Smith, brothers, Robert G. Smith, Donald G. Smith and Michael N. Smith, and son, Dana M. Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey "Pat" Smith; daughter, Janet Lovell and son, Thomas G. Smith, grandson, Blain A. Smith, granddaughter, Shara K. Robinson, great-granddaughter, Madelyn A. Robinson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Tommy served in the Army during the Korean War. He was proud to have recently received his 50 year membership award as a Mason. Throughout his life, Tommy was an avid sportsman and shooter. His warm smile and quick wit made him beloved by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank the VA Hospital and Arkansas Hospice for the excellent care Tommy received.
Visitation will be Monday, September 14 from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
