Thomas Noble

The angel of death placed its icy hand on the brow of Thomas Noble late Saturday afternoon and his gentle spirit winged its flight to the realms of glory. Loving hands had done everything possible to aid in recovery but the Supreme Ruler of the universe calls his children home one by one and Kilroy was prepared to enter that celestial home where sickness and sorrow are unknown.
Thomas Nelson Noble, son of Cyrus Oren Noble, Sr. and Jackie Noble, was born August 6, 1932, in Beebe, Arkansas and departed this life at home in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years, 21 days. He will be greatly missed by those who where near him and to whom he was so dear.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents and his only sister, Maxine Noble Scroggs. He is survived by his brothers Cyrus Noble, Jr. and his wife Naomi, and Richard Noble, and also leaves behind six nieces and three nephews.
Thomas Noble enlisted into the U.S. Air Force the week following his high school graduation from Beebe High School where he attended all twelve years. He served our country for four years during the Korean War. After arriving back on U.S. soil, he was stationed in Lincoln, Nebraska and met his bride, Maxine Sieck. They were married August, 1955.
He's survived by his wife of many years, Maxine Sieck Noble. Together they created two very unique daughters, Karen Noble Mitchell and Melody (Mookie) Noble Nelson. And then there are the wonderful men the girls brought to the family; Robert Mitchell with Karen and Carl (Chessie) Nelson with Melody. Kilroy was thrilled!! Then Melody and Carl presented him with the ultimate: his grandson Drake Nelson, (Jenks Football) and his granddaughter Merrell Nelson, (Jenks Pom). The last nine months of his life he was already in heaven. The boy turned man Drake was now the driver of Pop Pop. Merrell still didn't give a ... about driving, so Pop Pop let her rule the house when she was there.
Kilroy was a retired Teamster, and was always supportive of the VFW. Bird hunting (quail) was his favorite hobby... second to playing poker. He was a native of Beebe and always a Badger! He is leaving behind many friends and he will be missed. "Kilroy was here" and now "Kilroy has left".
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to VFW Post 7769, 405 E. Center St., Beebe, AR 72012.
