Thomas McEuen

Thomas De Witt McEuen, 83, of McRae passed away at his home on January 20, 2017. He was born to Luther and Ruby Childers McEuen September 12, 1933.

Thomas was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in McRae. He dedicated 38 years of loyal service to our country and retired as a 100 % disabled veteran. He served four years in the United States Navy, and eighteen years in the United States Air Force. After retirement he continued his loyal service to the United States Government working for the Veteran's Affairs Office. Thomas also obtained his Associates Degree through Arkansas State University Beebe.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hill McEuen; son Jerome McEuen; daughter, Jennifer West (Brad); and four grandsons; Jacob and Jordan McEuen, Christian West, and Silas Hill.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife; Dinah Feld McEuen, three brothers; Luther Perry, Joe Wayne, and Marvin Ray (Hub) McEuen, and three sisters; Margaret Middlebrook, Mildred Baker, Jean Foreman.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2017, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with Mack Davis officiating. Private burial will be Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery.
