Thomas M Jones

Thomas M. "Pop" Jones, 80, of North Little Rock passed away July 16, 2024.  He was born in Prescott, Arkansas to the late Milburn and Hazel Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vicki Jones; and their daughter, Jaclyn.  He is also survived by a sister, Jeanne Haynie (Sonny); nephews: Chuck Haynie (Jennifer), Joe Haynie (Alyssa), Jim Haynie (Kendra), and a niece, Gina Baxley (Rodney).

Tommy was a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years.  He retired 20 years ago and enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening and traveling with Vicki, Jaclyn and many friends.

Tommy was a loving, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who will all miss his humor and kindness.  His faith in God and his family were the most important things in his life.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Memorials in honor of Tommy may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas, 1501 West 10th St., Little Rock, AR  72202.
