Thomas Hopkins
Thomas Neel Hopkins, 74, of Little Rock, passed away December 23, 2018. Born in Pine Bluff to Thomas Veo Hopkins and Thelma Nall Ridgeway, he was the owner of Tom's 12th St. BBQ Restaurant for over 30 years. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1963 and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He was a member of the Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 42 years, Saundra Lee Hopkins, son, Thomas Hopkins II, grandson, Jordan Brandon, and his grandparents, Claud E. and Annie Nall, he is survived by his daughters, Connie Brandon of Little Rock and Karen Wright (Judge Herb Wright) of North Little Rock; sister, Carol Davis (Jack) of Pine Bluff; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene, officiated by Rev. Paul Holderfield.
Memorials may be made to the Bennett Family Arkansas Waterfowl Association Outdoor Recreation Center for Youth, P.O. Box 661, Lonoke, AR 72086.
