Thomas Duane Grasser, 67, of Conway, AR departed this life August 13th, 2019, surrounded by family. Born March 3rd, 1952 in Little Rock, AR to the late Matthew and Evelyn Grasser.
In his early years, Tom attended the University of Central Arkansas, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in History. He served as a cadet in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), later serving as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve. He had a passion for history and education, which guided him to a lifetime career committed to his students. Consequently, dedicating the majority of his teaching career to the Mount Vernon-Enola High School district. In retirement, Tom faithfully devoted much of his time to volunteer work with St. Joseph's Catholic Church (Conway).
Tom leaves behind his wife (Teresa) to cherish his memory; his greatest gifts in this life - Adam Benjamin of Fort Collins, CO; Danielle Catherine (Jared) Permenter of Greenbrier, AR; and Chelsea Gabrielle of Conway, AR. Tom also leaves his most precious gifts and always the sparkle in his eyes (granddaughters Caitlyn Hope and Caroline Grace). Also to be treasured in the hearts of brother (Quentin Richardson) of Glenrock, Wyoming and faithful sister (Phyllis Grasser) of Conway, AR. Surviving nieces and nephews are Tempe Richardson Lohmeyer, Jayla Richardson Zancanella, Kenny Richardson (all of Colorado), and Christopher Grasser of North Little Rock, AR.
Tom is preceded in death by: Raymond Richardson and Richard Grasser (brothers); Tiffany Richardson (niece).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to a charity of choice.

Cremation services executed through Griffin-Leggett Conway Funeral Home. A private memorial for immediate family to follow.
