Thomas Brown

Thomas Crow Brown, 83, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 16, 2009. He was born July 16, 1926, at Beebe, to Wiley and Edna Crow Brown. Thomas was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after thirty-one years and also retired as an electrician. He was an Army Air Corp. veteran of WWII and a member of Beebe First Baptist Church, serving as Deacon for many years. He was a member of AA for forty-seven years and co-founder of Beebe AA.
Thomas is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Polly Duke Brown; one son, Terry Brown of Beebe; two daughters, Linda Brown and Mona Vaden and husband Thomas, all of Beebe; five grandchildren, Robby Brown, Jennifer Williams, Shawne Vaden and wife Alisha, Spring Rodgers, Sheana Toney and husband Jeremy; eleven great-grandchildren, Jacob Brown, Megan Williams, Molly Rhodes, Hunter Vaden, Chloe Rodgers, Zoe Rodgers, Scout Rodgers, Emma Toney, Jackson Crow Toney, Kristen and Payton; two sisters, Frances Prickett of Beebe and Virginia Phillips of Copperas Cove, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Louise Schneider and Helen Brown; and one brother, Hillman Brown.
Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2009, at First Baptist Church, with burial in Beebe Cemetery.
