Thomas Barron

Thomas F. Barron, 91, of North Little Rock, passed away on April 21, 2020. He was born on April 5, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Isabelle Barron.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ruth Barron, and his parents.

Thomas is survived by two sons, Michael Barron and wife, Cindy, and John Barron and wife, Cathy, all of North Little Rock; two daughters, Elizabeth Stricklin, of North Little Rock, and Melody McBride, of Memphis; eight grandchildren, Andrea Heintzen, Morgan Barron, Alicia Warriner, Joshua, Joseph and Jonathan Stricklin, Jessica Pauley-Bates and Carly McBride; and six great-grandchildren, Jaden, Jakob and Jared Heintzen, Cameron and Elizabeth Stricklin and Gavin Pauley.

Thomas served honorably in the United States Navy; he was Chief of Office Operations at Veterans Hospital in Little Rock.  He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Avenir Memory Care in Little Rock and Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock for the excellent and loving care provided to him.

He will be buried at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
