Thomas Edward Anderson, 76, of Sherwood, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015. He was born May 8, 1938 to Victor E. and Lillian J. Griffin Anderson. Thomas, "Andy", was retired from the Army National Guard after 23 years of service. He worked in the concrete business for forty years until his retirement from Martin Marrietta Materials, Inc. in 2007. Thomas was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Sherwood First Baptist Church and the Living Word Sunday School Class. He enjoyed his family, the outdoors, traveling, loving on his granddaughters and faithful canine companion, Cornbread Bob.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Stouffer Anderson; son, Todd Edward and wife Olivia Anderson; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Grace and Carly Faith Anderson; brother, Richard Anderson of Ennis, Montana; sister, Mary Ann Kimberlin of Hot Springs; and numerous extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Maude Wright.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the Sherwood First Baptist Church. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in West Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hartman, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, 11921 Main Street. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
