Theresa Young

Theresa Young, 78, formerly of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed May 21, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Plumerville, Arkansas.  She was born October 31, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the union of James and Viola Anderson. Theresa was a professional dog groomer in Las Vegas where she thoroughly enjoyed the shows and the fast-paced lifestyle. She enjoyed the movies, old westerns, and dancing.  Theresa liked to ride horses and loved animals.  She was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Jiles Searcy; brothers, Tim and Jimmy; and sisters Sharon and Lavern; and a son, Bruiser.

Survivors include two brothers:   Anthony and Ervin; four sisters: Verdell, Katherine, Aletha, and Valencia and; three children Jannie, Toni (Argustus Jackson) and Dion; grandchildren:  Chris Sr., Chakona and Christina; great-grandchildren:  Chris Jr, Jay’Vohn, Joveon, Jovian; and other extended relatives and friends.
