Theresa Loraine Craig
Theresa L. (Winkel) Craig, passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 91. She was born on October 21, 1932 in Morris, Illinois to the late Ralph James & Mary Edna Winkel where she was raised on a farm.
She attended Dresden Hill Grade School and graduated from Morris Community High School in 1952.
Theresa worked at Carcuff Truck Stop (at that time) where she met the love of her life, Arthur Clyde Craig. They were married on September 2, 1951 and were married for 62 years.
They worked in the logging business, then together were long haul truck drivers. Theresa and Clyde were big NASCAR fans.
Theresa is predeceased in death by her husband, Clyde; her parents; and siblings: Florence, Bernard and George.
Theresa is survived by her children: Trinket, Art (Donna), Linda (Brandon); grandchildren: Jaime, Justin (Amanda), Corey, Zane (Emily); four great-grandchildren: Autumn, Jackson, Izabella & Miles; brothers: Leo Winkel and Duane Winkel; along with several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Owensville Baptist Church, 22000 AR-5, Lonsdale, AR followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. Theresa will be laid to rest after the service at Owensville Arkansas cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
