Thelma LeBoeuf Theriot, 87 of Shannon Hills was born on May 28, 1921 to Clement and Nicie LeBoeuf of Vinton, LA and died April 21, 2009.
She graduated from Vinton High School in 1938 and worked at Weingarten and Muller's Department Store in Lake Charles in her early years and there after she was a homemaker.
Thelma was a member of the VFW Post 2256 of Benton,Arkansas. Family and friends will always remember Thelma for her witty personality, her strong view on politics, her competitive nature for playing cards, her numerous involvement in community activities and how she was a big supporter and fan of the Special Olympics. She was a resident of Lake Charles, LA and after her husband Bud retired from city service after 36 years, they moved to Pirate's Cove on Toledo Bend Lake. After his passing she moved to Shannon Hills, Arkansas in 2000 and resided there until her passing. Prior to Thelma's passing the family was very proud of the fact that there was five generations living at one time.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elvin "Bud" Theriot of 51 years; son Robert C. Theriot, a brother Lloyd "Bubba" LeBoeuf, and a sister Peggy Foreman.
Survivors include a daughter Janell Evans of Shannon Hills, sister Della Duncan of Orange, Texas; grandchildren Robert Self (Toni), Terry Curtis (Julia) of Shannon Hills, Alice May (Rick) of Sulpher, LA, Catherine Theriot and Elizabeth Theriot of California; Great Grand Children Leeanna Newman, Micheal Curtis, Justin Curtis, Samantha Jeffus, and Dylan May and one great great grandchild Ryann Alexis Newman; and many nieces, nephews and friends..
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Lisa Cockrell for helping out with Thelma's care, thanks is also given out to Dee Dee, Kathy, and Judy of Baptist Hospice.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock from 5:30 until the funeral service time at 6:00 p.m., services will be officiated by Mark Prewett. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m.on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Pisgah Cemetery in Many, Louisiana.
