Thelma Hearington Moore, 93, of Perryville passed away Friday, September 30, 2011. She was born January 30, 1918 in Swan Lake Arkansas to John and Mary Hearington. She married Alvie (Red) Moore June 18, 1937 in Humphrey, Arkansas. They had 35 years together until his death in 1972. They had three children, Al Moore, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ellen Luna of Wasco, California and Thaddys Moore, of Perryville; five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie Moore; her parents, John and Mary Hearington; three brothers, George, Thad (her twin) and J.T.; four sisters, Bevadine Castile, Gracie Gammel, Alfie Vassar and Annie Poe.
She enjoyed sewing, piecing quilt tops, embroidering and cooking. After her husband passed away, she enjoyed traveling to visit her many brothers and sisters and their children and especially her many grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
