Thelma Jean Loyd

Thelma Jean Loyd, 79, of Naylor, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She was born May 11, 1943 in Enola, Arkansas to the late Lim and Bonnie Beene. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Loyd.

Thelma was a faithful lifetime member of the Church of Christ. She was a very hard working lady with a genuine deep concern and love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as all of the children in the community. She loved to fish and watch all of her grandchildren and great-grands no matter what they were playing. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Calvin Loyd; children, David Loyd (Jody), Max Loyd (Sherry), Chuck Loyd (Susan), Felicia Howard (Jimmie), and Jimmy Nolen; grandchildren, Rose Harris (Brandon), Madison Loyd, Makenzie Loyd, Caleb Loyd (Sarah), Wayce Howard and Wylie Howard; -great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Whitlee and Tucker Loyd, Jace, Grace, Grady, Bristol and Harlee Harris; great-great-grandchild, Hazelyi Harris; sisters, Linda Palmer, and Donna Bentley and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Arkansas on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Thelma’s life will be at Enola Church of Christ on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Heffington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Heffington Cemetery, 373 Hwy. 107 N, Enola, Arkansas 72047.
