Thelma Fowler

Thelma Rosetta Fowler, age 83 of North Little Rock, passed away and joined our Lord at home in heaven January 29, 2014. She was born on June 24, 1930 in Manila, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Fred and Geneva Carey who preceded her in death.

She found her true calling and flourished as a woman as a minister's wife serving the Lord and her Christian brothers and sisters for over 40 years. She raised her beautiful voice in praise and it sounded purely angelic. She was a wonderful and beautiful teacher, mentor, example and friend to countless individuals throughout her years. Her home and heart were open to all. She enjoyed all God's nature and beauty, crocheting and cooking. She welcomed all with wonderful home cooked meals and her famous yeast rolls.

Thelma is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Ted Fowler, son Tim Fowler and brother James Carey.

Thelma is loved by her family beyond measure and is survived by son Ted Fowler and wife Glenda of Raleigh, NC, daughter Terri Fowler of Little Rock, AR., her grandchildren Tonya Peck and husband Rich, Sean Fowler and wife Lizzie, Shane and Lauren Fowler, and Joshua Wright and wife Kerri, and her great grandchildren Hartley, Andrew and Ella Peck and Emma Wright. She is also survived by countless friends who loved her dearly.

She will be missed by many. 'Her worth is far above rubies" Proverbs 31:10
