Thelma Weeks Clark age 83 of Friendship, Hot Spring County, died Friday, January 27, 2012. She was born November 5, 1928 the daughter of Oscar and Jessie Dean McLaughlin Weeks. She was a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Clark, a sister, Betty Weeks House, and great granddaughter, Mikah L. Wingfield.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Clark of Peoria, IL, two daughters, Linda Clark and Patty Wingfield and her husband Jerry all of Friendship, one brother Larry "Troll" Weeks and wife Sharran of Bend, OR, three grandchildren, Paula Wingfield, Mike Wingfield and his wife Suanna, and Jeremy Wingfield and his wife Beth, five great grandchildren, Justin, Tommy, and John Wingfield, Chris Lendvay and Alexa Smith.
Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday in the Ouachita Cemetery near Donaldson with Rev. Sonny Porterfield officiating under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. There will be no formal visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Night in Bethlehem Fund or the Ouachita Cemetery Fund.
