Thelma Brown

Thelma Brown of Joan Community passed away February 12, 2020. Thelma was born in Joan Arkansas to the late Chester and Florence (Williams) Hudson on November 4, 1925.

After high school Thelma worked for Dillards, she rose to become Personal Coordinator for the Arkansas Division and retired after fifty years.  She was a faithful member of Ashbury United Methodist Church in Little Rock from 1964 – 2013 and currently was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

Thelma is preceded in death by her loving husband John H. Brown; son, Michael C. Brown; grandson, Chad A Brown and sister, Virginia Phelps.  She is survived by her son, Adrian (Cherri) Brown of Norman OK, 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren from Michael and Kathy Brown.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home with the services at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home.
