Thelma Lorene Ward Brown, 93, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018. She was born April 14, 1924 in Lonoke County to Benjamin Edgar and Bessie Eva Smith Ward.
She was a homemaker and she loved planting a vegetable garden and weeding her flower beds up until her health began to fail.
Lorene is survived by her ten children, daughters Sharon Bullock, Shirley Evants, Nita Jameson, Barbara Loftis; sons Lewis, Jack, Buddy, Marty, Dale and Clyde Brown; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd Brown, son Lloyd Jr. and a daughter, Martha Piety.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Hicks Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.SmithFamilyCares.com
