Terry Welch, age 63, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
He was born on October 5, 1958, in Hartford City, Indiana, the son of Curtis George Welch and Margaret Brewer Welch. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Jean Schooley Welch; his parents; and his brother, Danny Welch.
He was a Baptist in his faith and attended the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Terry was employed with Mastercraft for several years and was also a very talented welder, building his own smoker, trailer and numerous other items over the years. He enjoyed hunting, going to rodeos and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his niece, Heather Funderburk and her husband, Dan, of Kirby; his nephew, Jason Welch and his wife, Stephanie, of Lockesburg; his step-mother, Winnie Welch of Rogers; his half-sister, Paula Welch of Section, Alabama; his step-sister, Jan Whiddon of Rogers; two great-nephews, Grant Funderburk and Blayne Welch; his great-niece, Ella Funderburk; and numerous extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, April 18, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Gary Welch and Bro. Josh Welch officiating.
Visitation will be held Monday, 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, prior to the services at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Liberty Church Cemetery, in Mineral Springs.
Pallbearers will be Don Babbitt, Richard Huddleston, Robert Huddleston, James Brandon Welch, Ricky Godwin and Boogie Huddleston.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Goodson and Richard Schooley.
