Terry Lee Toland

Terry Lee Toland, age 64, of Royal, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023.

He was born on June 27, 1958, in Phoenix Arizona, the son of Delmar Cecil Toland and Doris Lavern Partin Self.  He was preceded in death by his wife; Donna Toland; his parents; and one sister Delphina.  

Terry worked as a flooring salesman for over thirty years and did some time working in the forestry service as well. He was friendly in nature and loved to drink his whiskey by the campfire. During his time off he loved to spend weeks in the deer woods and fishing on Lake Ouachita. He enjoyed vacations to the beach but most of all taking a cruise.

He is survived by his son, Derek Toland; his stepdaughter, Wendy Toland; four grandchildren: Brinlee Toland, Caden Toland, Kayla Wright, and Jordan Ackerman. He is also survived by his sister Darlene (Dean) Worthen, his brother Doug Toland along with half siblings, Joey (Francis) Self, Diane Flemming, Enoch Self, and Timothy Self.

A visitation will be held from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Stateroom, Hot Springs.

A graveside service will be held at Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs, Arkansas at 2:00pm Friday, January 20, 2023.

Pallbearers are Heath Greening, Dean Worthen, Bruce Burtness, Christopher Toland, Channon Toland, and Robert Wright.

Honorary pallbearer is Dennis Toland.
