Terry Thacker

Terry Thacker, age 59, of Hot Springs, passed away, Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

Terry was born on September 10, 1961, in Arkadelphia, the son of Elvin Doyle Thacker and Verna Earlene Ledbetter Thacker. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He attended church at Caney Missionary Baptist Church in Bismarck. Terry graduated from Bismarck High School. In his younger years he loved playing baseball and football and always was a fan of the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with friends and family. He worked for Weyerhaeuser in the MDF manufacturing plant in Malvern.

He is survived by his three brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Cindy Thacker of Bismarck, Darrell and Misty Thacker of Bismarck and Bryan Thacker of Hot Springs; his aunts and uncles, Pam and David Whitley of Malvern, Ronnie Ledbetter of Donaldson and Doug and Sue Ledbetter of Bismarck; nieces, nephews, other extended family members and many good friends.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Caney Missionary Baptist Church in Bismarck.

Honorary pallbearer is Ronnie Rodgers, a very good friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be sent to Pam Whitley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
