Terry Gwatney

Terry Jackson Gwatney of Conway joined his Lord and Savior July 25, 2015. He was born to the late Henry and Jewel Gwatney in Sherwood in 1948. He grew up in Arkansas graduating from Sylvan Hills High School in 1968. Terry was a salesman who loved people and worked hard. His career lead him and his family on many adventures; he lived in many places and also traveled the world. He was an excellent cook, enjoyed taking care of his yard, and playing golf. He often could be found listening to Bob Segar and always had a Diet Coke in hand. His greatest joy was his three boys, Jason, Josh and Jon whom he deeply loved. He will be missed.

Terry is survived by his son Josh Gwatney and wife Carolyn of Memphis; son Jon Gwatney and wife Amanda of Little Rock; Grandson Cole Gwatney and Granddaughters Lily and Charlotte Gwatney; brother Kent Gwatney and wife Lori of Conway; beloved niece, Judy Gwatney; and a host of other family. He was preceded in death by his son Jason Gwatney and brother Pete Gwatney.

Memorials may be made to his niece, Bekah Lamb's, volunteer work for Daughter's of Hope in India. Please mail memorials to: The Mission Society, 6234 Crooked Creek Rd., Atlanta, GA 30092 and put "Bekah Lamb in memory of Terry Gwatney" in the memo field.

Services will be held, Wednesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. in Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Mount Holly Cemetery in Little Rock. www.SmithFamilyCares.com
