Teresa “Terry” Kay O'Neal, a beloved mother, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home on August 23, 2023.

 

She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 28, 1959. She was the daughter of Thomas William Cook and Shirley Parker Davis. She was preceded in death by her father; her three sons, Johnny O’Neal, Curtis O’Neal, and B.J. O’Neal; and her brother, Chris Woods.

 

Terry led a loving life around her family and touched the lives of many. She loved fishing and camping out by the river. She spent many years working for Tyson and Winters planting trees with the love of her life, Kennie Ray. Terry was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and partner. To know Terry is to love her and she will be missed by all who knew her.

 

She is survived by her mother, Shirley Davis of Glenwood; her lifetime partner of 40 years; Kennie Ray Cogburn of Glenwood; her son, Ricky Ray Cogburn of Glenwood; her stepson, John Butcher; her grandchildren, Hank, Wyatt, Tommy, Will, Courtney, Hannah, and Trent; her brother, Tommy Cook of Yellville; her sister, Paula Woods of Glenwood; her special nephews, Cash Woods and Jayce Fogle, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

 

The family will be holding a memorial service on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 5:00 PM at John Benjamin Park with Bro. Casey Smith officiating.

 

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Smith Family Home, 209 North 3rd Street, Glenwood, AR, 71943.
