In Loving Memory of Teddy Dwayne Hefley, 62 of Vilonia. He was born June 25, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bob Hefley and Wanda (Smith) Hefley. He went to be with the Lord August 12, 2022. Teddy retired from Chicopee after 30 years of being a Process Specialist. He graduated from Heritage College in 2011 with a diploma as an X-Ray Tech and Medical Assistant. He was an avid sportsman as a young adult and was awarded the Babe Ruth award in 1975.
Teddy enjoyed fishing, hunting, Indian history, camping, visiting Oaklawn racing, calling the Hogs and watching the sunset from his front porch. He had a strong faith in God, loved reading the Bible and dearly loved his family and friends, and in return was loved dearly by them.
Teddy is preceded in death by his parents and by his longtime sweetheart, Debbie Reeves of Cabot.
Teddy is survived by his three siblings: Teresa Crowder of Conway, Bobby Lee Hefley of Vilonia and Susan Williams of Vilonia. 4 nieces and 3 nephews: Jeromy Crowder (Alesha) of Conway, Jodie Hatfield (Mickey) of Conway, Chance Williams (Carrie) of Greenbrier and Erika Jaco of Vilonia; 6 great nephews, 3 great nieces, 1 great-great nephew, 1 great-great niece, 2 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 5p.m., until the memorial service begins at 6p.m. at the funeral home.
