Tara Stacks, age 50, of Arkadelphia passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth and indelible memories. She was born April 17, 1974 to Ray and Becky Brown. Tara brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Becky Brown; step-mother-in-law, Elizabeth Stacks; and grandparents, Maxine and Walter Phelps.
Tara was the beloved wife of Chris Stacks, mother to Griffin Brown and Bayley Stacks with whom she shared a deep and enduring love. She is also survived by her father, Ray Brown (Annette); father-in-law, Brian Stacks; mother-in-law, Joy Metzer (Bill); siblings, Traci King (Kyle), Todd Brown (Jane), Marsha Ivy (Darrell), and Chip Hamilton; sister-in-law, Jennifer Hinojosa (Scott). And her role as a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews, Gracee and Lainee King, Madison Arndt (TJ), Jacob Lupfer (Josie), Jenna Brown, Kiersten Ivy, Kennedy Lohr (Nicholas), Kaden Ivy, Isabella and Hunter Hinojosa; and great-niece and nephew, Timoth Arndt and Presley Lupfer.
She loved Jesus, her family and friends, her dogs and Spain. She always said kindness was FREE. Tara’s zest for life was further amplified by her passion for travel. To know Tara was to know she was a friend to many and a stranger to none.
