Tanza L. Markham, age 61, of Daisy, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. She was born on February 20, 1957, in Glenwood, the daughter of John Thomas Tidwell and Estean Halcombe Tidwell. She was preceded in death by her father; her former husband, Charles "Chuck" Markham; and her fiance, Bill Fant. She was a member of the Community Bible Baptist Church, was a licensed beautician and owned and operated her own beauty shop for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed horseback riding, water skiing, but her greatest joy in life was dancing and was a member of the Spa City Bop Club in Hot Springs. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Kayla Markham of Amity; her daughter, Lori Fry of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Amy, Chase, Conner and Destiny; her mother, Estean Harbour of Mena; one sister and brother-in-law, Treva and Richard Mahar of Washougal, Washington; five step-sisters and their spouses, Vicky and Dennis Boryski of Norman, Oklahoma, Jane and Doug Gerrard of Edmond, Oklahoma, Barbara and Mark Williams of Blanchard, Oklahoma, June and Robbie Sherrell of Washington, Oklahoma and Allyson Kincade of Glenwood, several nieces, nephews, extended family members and host of wonderful friends; and a very special friend, Rickey Nutt of Amity. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 4, 2018, in the Mount Tabor Community Church with Bro. Andy Arnold and Bro. George "Boots" Donaldson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Bill Lemser, Bryan Ford, Larry Kuykendall, Ronnie Tidwell, Michael Brown and Tony Doster. Honorary pallbearers will be Marlon Yarbrough and Loyd Halcombe.
