Tania Dawn Ashley Cooper

Tania Dawn Ashley Cooper, age 30, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016. She was born on November 1, 1985, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Ronald "Ronny" Eugene Ashley and Lorie Ann Wilson Ashley. On February 18, 2016, after having already shared five cherished years together, she was married to the true love of her life, Jesse Cooper. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jerry D. Wilson; her paternal grandparents, Harral and Martha Ashley; her "adopted" grandpa, Billy Ashley; and her father-in-law, Leroy Cooper. Tania was a 2004 graduate of Centerpoint High School; was Missionary Baptist in her faith; and worked at McDonalds as a cashier, and was always willing to step up and help her fellow co-workers with any other needed duties. She was a wonderful and loving wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Jesse Cooper of Glenwood; her parents, Ronny and Lorie Ashley of Amity; her sister, Tabitha Ashley of Amity; her brother, Andrew Ashley of Amity; her grandmother, Lucie Wilson of McCaskill; her "adopted" grandmother, Geraldine Ashley of Glenwood; her mother-in-law, Sandra Cooper of Amity; her best friend, Rachel Lang Neighbors of Newhope; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members; and a host of wonderful and loving friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Jack Herring and Bro. Melvin Markham officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Cody Comeaux, BJ Johns, Dusty Skates, Wilber Romero, John Trent, Micah Thompson, Blake Forga, Preston Richardson and Kylor Spurlin.
