Tana Fox Lemons, age 61, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021.
She was born on June 20, 1959, in Huntington, Indiana, the daughter of Don Fox and Kay Leverton Fox. On September 12, 1998, she was married to Earl Lemons. Tana was preceded in death by her infant brother, Jerry Lee Fox; her infant sister, Debra Kay Fox; her paternal grandparents, Oren and Evelyn Fox; her maternal grandparents, Doc and Helen Smith and G. T. Siler; her father-in-law, Fred Lemons; and her brother-in-law, Lee Lemons.
She was a retired postmaster with the United States Postal Service. Tana always lived life to the fullest. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Tana is survived by her husband, Earl Lemons; her parents, Don and Kay Fox; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Leslie Conner and Nick and Brittany Lemons; her daughter, Kari Lemons; seven grandchildren, Madison, Mallory and Makayla Conner, Aiden Lemons, Evan and Peyton Hearn, and Raeleigh Lemons; her great-grandson, Jasper Samuel; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Regina Fox; her mother-in-law, Christine Lemons; her brother-in-law, Johnny Lemons; her sister-in-law and husband, DeAnn and Gary Simmons; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a multitude of longtime friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 23, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Logan Foshee officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Nashville.
Pallbearers will be Gary Simmons, John Lemons, Brad Baxter, Mark Deputy, Sean Deputy and Eric Walker.
