Tammy Lynn Dashiell

Tamara “Tammy” Lynn Dashiell, 55, born April 10 1969, to Edward and Kay Van Etten, went home to the Lord on October 16, 2024. Tammy loved God and was always firm in her faith. 

Tammy was born in Arkansas at the Little Rock Air Force base, then grew up in Miami till age 11 when she returned to North Little Rock. She attended the University of Arkansas and loved the Hogs. She had a lot of accomplishments throughout her life, one of her favorites was being on the Board for Little Rock Juniors volleyball. She was also very successful when it came to her career. She worked with McLarty Auto Group for 15+ years, where she eventually served as payroll director. She was known by a lot of people and loved by just as many. 

Tammy is survived by her husband, Robert “Jason” Dashiell; children, Justin Dashiell (Valorie), Aaron Van Etten, and Jordyn Dashiell; her parents, Kay and Edward Van Etten (Monica); sisters, Ashley Machado (Chad) and Erika Pratt (Joe); nephew Jacob Burkhalter; brother-in-law, Tracy Tittle; and cousins, Jay Carlson (Jennifer) in Piperton, TN and Robert Carlson (Brett) in Tulsa, OK. She was proceeded by her sister, Deborah Van Etten. 

A visitation will be held 10:30 am-11:30 am Saturday, November 9, 2024, followed by a Celebration of her Life at 11:30 am at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court.
