Sylvia Henn
Sylvia Pauline Henn, 76, of Little Rock, widow of Thomas A. Henn, passed away July 28, 2013. She was born in Hattieville to the late Ed and Audie Hazel Montgomery on September 14, 1936.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Grimmett, Marilyn Wells, Carolyn Henn, Patrick Henn and Cynthia Henn; sons-in-law, Randy Grimmett and John Wells; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Sylvia devoted her life to her family. She was a loving wife beyond measure and as a Mother she was tender and supportive.
As the Bible says, "whither thou goest I will go", Sylvia lived her life as that kind of spouse. She supported her husband Thomas and moved with him throughout the country and overseas following his dreams.
In a rowdy family consisting of a spouse and five children, she held her own in humor and spirit. Our days will continue on but the light is diminished by the loss of her loving presence.
Visitation will be Friday evening August 2 beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Warren Harvey on Saturday, August 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimer's Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Dr., Little Rock, AR 72205.
