Sylvia Goss

Sylvia Gail Goss, 70, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born May 3, 1938, at Blue Ridge, Texas, to Lewis and Stella Gary White and she went to be with the Lord August 3, 2008. She was retired from First Security Bank at Searcy and was a member of the Beebe Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Sonny" Goss; one brother and two sisters. Sylvia is survived by two sons, Steve Goss of Cabot and Mike Goss of Paris, Texas; two daughters, Renee Ellenburg, and Karen Hammons and husband Larry, all of Beebe; two sisters, Xenia Lillard and Laverne Cooper of Atoka, Oklahoma; one brother, Clarence White of Sherman, Texas; and dear friend, Jerry Person of Searcy.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at Beebe Church of Christ, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com
