Sylvester Jones, 55, of Little Rock was born November 21, 1945 in Forrest City, Arkansas to Rev. James Jones Sr. and Annie Jones, the eleventh oldest of sixteen children. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 21, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Henry Lee Jones and James Jones Jr. Cherishing his memory are his survivors, one son, Slyvester Nichols (Shantavia); three grandchildren, Olivia, Shivaria and Shimar of Tupelo, MS; seven brothers, Samuel, Melvin (Callie) and Amos Jones, all of Forrest City; Lee Roy (Ariel) of Marianna; Ronnie of Austin, TX; Joe Nathan (Diane) of Portsmouth, VA; and Allen (Betty) of Bowie, MD; six sisters, Anna Marie(Eugene), Vornola (Arthur) and Lerotha (Gary) all of Forrest City, AR; Doiniece of Bridgeton, MO; Barbara (Oscar) of Ridgeland, MS; and Paulette (Darrell) of Lawton, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.
