Sybil Correne "Rennie" Breeding

Sybil Correne “Rennie” Breeding, age 77, of Little Rock, passed away December 6, 2023.

Rennie graduated from Hall High School in 1964. She was a long-time member of Bingham Rd. Baptist Church and most importantly, a devoted child of God all her life. She worked alongside her mom and dad in the family business until their passing then later was a one-woman office manager for AR Sheet Metal. She was a sweet and thoughtful person always showing up to visit the sick in the hospital. Rennie loved her family fiercely and enjoyed cooking for everyone at holiday times. She cooked for others in need, for church events, made cakes and chocolates for numerous baby showers, birthdays, etc. She had mad seamstress skills from hemming up pants to making wedding and prom dresses. Rennie’s life changed dramatically overnight four years ago forcing her into retirement and into a full-time care facility. She helped the caregivers and elders there and continued to do what she had always done, serve others. Anyone who knew her would call her an angel of light.

Rennie is preceded in death by her parents J.D. and Sybil A. Bennett, her brothers Doyle Bennett and Mike Bennett (Nancy); her son Samuel S. Breeding II and his father, Samuel S. Breeding I. She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Miller (Terry), six grandchildren - Jordan Muir, Trey Breeding, Parker Reinhart, Sadie Breeding, Lindsay Miller Finley and Tera Miller; six great-grandchildren - Jake, Mackenzie, Gwen, Landon, Jaxon, and Emersyn; and a host of many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, American Cancer Society, or Arbor Day Foundation.

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 18, 2023, at 3:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
