Sybil Bisbee

Sybil (Danks) Bisbee, 86, of Searcy, Arkansas, was born December 3, 1924, at Humphrey, Arkansas, and she died Monday, November 7, 2011. She was born to George and Lorella (Wood) Danks and was raised in Sidon by George and Cora Wood. She always welcomed people into her home and loved to entertain. She loved people, loved life and was very compassionate. Sybil always put her family first and was her children and grandchildren's biggest fan. She was an avid Razorback basketball fan and was a member of Downtown Church of Christ since 1965.
Sybil is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Joel Bisbee; one sister, Maxine Bradley Morris; two daughters, Sandy Aaron of Fort Smith and Debbie Riley of Searcy; three grandchildren, Kelly Aaron, Autumn Riley of St. Petersburg, Florida and Austin Riley of Searcy; two great-grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Riley and Nathan Troy Riley of Searcy; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Elva Bennett and Mildred English.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Downtown Church of Christ, with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Searcy Children's Home, 509 N. Main, Searcy, AR 72143.
