Suzanne Taylor Skrivanos-Lofton entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, July 21, 2024. Suzanne enjoyed a full and productive life serving others and serving the Lord. She is preceded in death by her husband George C. Skrivanos.
Born June 25, 1935, in Jonesville, Michigan, she lived there with her family until they moved to Brooklyn, Michigan where she graduated from her high school class of 27 people in 1953. She attended Michigan State University, followed by working as governess to the governor’s 3 children. It was while summering with that family on Mackinac Island that she met her future husband, George Skrivanos.
Suzanne Taylor became Mrs. George C. Skrivanos in 1956. After living in a few different states, they settled in Little Rock where she worked in interior design with The Carriage House. They raised their two sons, Don and Bill, in Little Rock.
She is survived by her two sons, Donald Anthony Skrivanos and William Taylor Skrivanos, both of North Little Rock.
Suzanne’s life was eternally changed when she personally made Jesus Christ Lord of her life. Her love of Jesus Christ and her study of His Word benefited many people. Her heart’s desire was for everyone to know Jesus and understand His Word.
Suzanne deepened her understanding of God’s Word through Bible Study Fellowship and many years in Precept Bible Studies.
Suzanne was a gracious giver. With finances she supported numerous ministries; with commitment she supported unknown numbers with her prayers; with her time she helped others through different ministries; with love she cared well for her family and friends.
Her friends on earth will miss her energy, love, joy, and wisdom. Her friends in heaven welcome her where she will dwell in the presence of her Lord forever.
