Suzanne Dillard

Suzanne Dillard, 72, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, August 22, 2016. She was born October 27, 1943 in Conroe, Texas to the late Donald and Doris Birdwell Barnes. Suzanne worked at Levy Church of Christ for over 32 years as secretary and women's ministries leader.

She is survived by her son, Gray (Elizabeth) of Maumelle; daughter Nancy Myers (Lowell) of Pangburn; grandchildren Lyndsey, Ryan and Bethany Dillard; sister Cynthia Voitle (Glenn) of Houston, Texas; brother Donald Barnes of Houston, Texas; sister-in-love Peggy Garner (Doyce) of Bryant; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jane Davenport, and grandparents Daddy Bert and Mimi Birdwell.

Suzanne's greatest passion in life was sharing Jesus with anyone - and everyone - she met. Whether in the grocery store, at the doctor's office, or in the Fox Ridge community, she faithfully and joyfully shared the love of Christ. She loved studying the Bible and passing along what she learned to others. Levy church of Christ was her home church for over 50 years. In addition to serving as secretary and women's ministries leader, she was a Bible class teacher, mentor and Heart Group mom. Given the gift of encouragement, she faithfully used her gift as a valiant prayer warrior and by writing articles and stories to inspire others. She was a recipient of 'The Legacy of Women in God's Service' award from Harding University and enjoyed speaking at multiple women's conferences. At home, her family was her pride & joy and cooking and reading were her favorite hobbies. She loved much....and she loved well.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levy Church of Christ (women's ministries), 5124 Camp Robinson Rd, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72118. A visitation will be held from 9:30-11am, Saturday, August 27th followed by a celebration of life service at 11am at Levy church of Christ.
