Susie Carol Garner, age 45, of Havana, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022.
She was born on March 18, 1976, in Mena, the daughter of Dennis Summitt and Carolyn Stanley Summitt. On September 2, 1994, she was married to the love of her life, Rickie Allen Garner. She was preceded in death by her mother; her two brothers, Johnny Summitt and BJ Douglas; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rickie and Lillie Garner.
Susie was always a hard worker who dedicated herself totally to anything she was involved in and would make every possible effort to see that things were done in a complete and perfect manner. She enjoyed gardening and watching her Saturday night music show on VTN. Above all, Susie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who truly loved her family with all her heart, especially her new grandson, Eian Allen, who made her world even brighter the day he was born. While our hearts are breaking as we must let our precious Susie go and while she may no longer be with us here on earth, we take great joy in knowing this is not goodbye, but “see you again soon”.
She is survived by her loving husband, Allen Garner of Havana; her precious daughters, who made her so happy, Samantha and Evan of Glenwood, Sarah of Amity and Sylvia and Skylar, both of Havana; her new pride and joy, her grandson, Eian Allen; her father, Dennis Summitt of Mount Ida; her brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Amber Douglas of Mount Ida; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kevin and Cassandra Garner; her nephew, Chase Garner, all of Amity; her niece, Destiny Garner of Hot Springs; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
