Susan (Susie) Simmons

Susan (Susie) Simmons of Beebe AR was born August 7, 1956, in Ft Bragg, North Carolina and passed away at home on February 9, 2025. 

Susie graduated from Beebe High School and went on to graduate from UCA with a teaching degree. She then went to Harding University where she obtained a degree in nursing. She was a nurse and then nursing supervisor at Unity Hospital in Searcy for over 30 years.

Susie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Delano and Patricia Simmons and one brother Robert Simmons. 

Susie is survived by her only son, Corey Simmons of Beebe, Arkansas and a grandson Lucas Simmons who was the light of her life.

Susie is also survived by two sisters, Cathy (Jerry) Holland and Mary Colburn of El Paso, Arkansas, and one brother, Del (Kathy) Simmons of Searcy, Arkansas, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
