Susan Sappington

Susan P. Sappington, 63, of Vilonia, Arkansas, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Susan was a dedicated letter carrier in Conway for twenty-five years. Susan was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reeder A. Pairish and Edith W. Pairish; and one son, Edward Kenneth Sappington. Susan is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sappington of Vilonia; one son, Philip (Cheri) Sappington of St. Louis; three daughters, Mary Beck of Vilonia, Samantha (Jimmy) Langley of Conway and Margaret (Karl) Huff of Vilonia; two sisters-in-law, Mary Joan Hamel of Iowa and Victoria Hale of Tennessee; two brothers-in-law, Donald Sappington and Thomas Sappington, both of St. Louis; eleven grandchildren, John, Melissa, Katherine and Ashlyn Sappington, Amanda and Nicole Beck, Shannon Trickey, Brian Langley, Kent King, Katie Tew, and Sydney Huff; and special friends, Rev. John and Susan Hammons.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Wilder, Dr. Ross, Dr. Abraham and Dr. Greenway and their staff for the excellent care they gave Susan.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Oliver Cemetery Chapel with burial in Oliver Cemetery.
