Susan Hassin age 59 of Arkadelphia died Monday, April 26, 2010 at her home in Arkadelphia. She was born April 2, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Susan graduated in 1972 from Ouachita Baptist University and in 1974 from the University of Arkansas School of Nursing. She served in the U. S. Army as a nurse achieving the rank of Captain. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Hassin.
Survivors include her mother Virginia Hassin of Arkadelphia, one brother, Kelly Hassin and his wife Daisy of Raleigh, NC and one nephew, Keith Hassin of Raleigh, NC.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Friday April 30, 2010 in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hot Springs under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
