Susan Burk

Susan Burk, age 47, of Glenwood, died Friday, September 5, 2014. She was born on April 7, 1967 in Paris, Arkansas, the daughter of Bill Durning and Frankie Standley Durning. On April 11, 1986, she was married to Virgil Burk, Jr. She was preceded in death by her infant sons, Justin Burk and Virgil Burk, III; her parents; two brothers, Darrell Durning and Donald Durnng; and her sister, Judy Haddox. She was Baptist in her faith. She is survived by her husband, Virgil Burk, Jr. of Glenwood; her sister, Jeanna Cloos of Ozark; and her brother, Dennis Durning of Ozark. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 8, 2014 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. Jack Herring officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Cloos, Paul Baker, Walter Cogburn, Steven Boyd, Delton Pate, Rodney Hudgins and Justin Ingemi.
