Sue Wetherington

Sue Wetherington age 88 of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Arkadelphia. She was born November 28, 1921 to the late Bland and Addie Arnold Tucker. Sue was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, worked at Hollywood Vasserette and Oberman's Manufacturing in Arkadelphia and was very active in volunteer work with several charitable groups. One son, Larry Wetherington and one grandson, Jimmy Wetherington preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of over sixty-eight years, Elmer Wetherington; two sons, Sonny Wetherington and wife, Kay of Bismarck, AR; Jim Wetherington and wife, Edna of North Little Rock, AR; one daughter, Susan Horton and husband, James of Arkadelphia, AR; two sisters, Doris Gilmer of Port Arthur, TX; Charlotte Billingsley of Bismarck, AR; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, June 25, 2010 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Erby Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Richwoods Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church.
