Sue Francis

Sue Francis, age 77, of Amity, died Saturday, May 9, 2015. She was born on December 5, 1937 at Kirby, the daughter of Thomas Jacob Barrett and Viola Garner Barrett. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Aaron Adams; three brothers, Tom Barrett, Dee Barrett and Ray Barrett; and three sisters, Lewvinie Stewart, Irene Wilder and Lois Cox. A licensed practical nurse, she worked at nursing homes at Arkadelphia, Nashville, Murfreesboro, Glenwood and Hot Springs. She was a Christian in her faith and had attended Cornerstone Church at Amity and Culvert Springs Assembly of God. She is survived by two sons, Calvin McWha of Charlotte, North Carolina and Tracy McWha of Delight; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floy Lay "Bug" Barrett of Amity and Loy Jay Barrett of Daisy; and three sisters, Faye Norris of Glenwood, Toppie Harvey of Oregon and Ruby Porter of Pearcy. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
