Stuart Lynn Green

Stuart Lynn Green, age 68, of Hot Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

He was born on October 8, 1954, in Hot Springs, the son of Charles Edward Green and Myrtle Ottwell Green.  On August 6, 1977, he married the love of his life, Gloria Mae Cotton.  He was preceded in death by his parents: and two brothers, Steve Green and Russel Green.

Stuart was a Christian and a member of Social Hill Baptist Church in Royal.  He had a very outgoing personality, making friends everywhere he went, loved fishing for Crappie, hunting deer and collecting guns.  He was a member of Cecil Thompson Hunting Club and enjoyed his time with all his bunting buddies.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him, especially his two cats, Nala and Spaz.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Gloria Green; two children, Patrick (Faith) Green and Elizabeth (Josh) Rowland; two grandchildren, Zaiden Lee Guess and Joshua Rowland, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. 

Interment will be in the Peak Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00PM-7:00PM, Monday evening.

Pallbearers are Richard Cotton, Josh Pounds, Adam Andersen, Johnathan Pounds, Harry Pointon and Lesley Benton.

Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Hurst, Mike Udrowskey and Paul Long.
