Stuart Baer

Stuart Raymond Baer, 58, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2021.  He was born in Little Rock to Harold and Peggy Baer on February 14, 1963. He was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church and attended Community Christian Church in Maumelle.

Stuart was a brilliant pianist, singer, songwriter, producer, engineer and band mate.  He played with Fifth Cliff, Michael Burks, Son Seals, Amy Garland, Charlotte Taylor and many more.  Stuart produced and recorded Michael Burks’ first CD at his house; Living Blues called the CD the debut of the year.  Stuart’s original music stands on its own. He also played for several churches in the Little Rock area.

Preceded in death by his father, Stuart is survived by his mother, Etta Margaret “Peggy” Tatum Baer; brother, Mark Alan Baer (Debbie); nephew, Kyle Baer (Abby); nieces, Kelsey Parsons (Cliff) and Karsen Fletcher (Tyler); and great-niece, Caroline Parsons.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m., preceded by visitation at 9:00, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., (501)224-2200.
