Steve White, 77, of Newhope, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
He was born on December 20, 1946 in York, South Carolina. The son of Carl White and Lily Teaster White.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce White; his son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Scarlett Butcher; his daughter, Tina Hill; his sister Vickie Garner; his seven grandchildren, John and Monica Butcher, Jeremy Hill and Sarah Jarmon, Kristina and Arturo Valdez, Will and Cora Butcher, Steven and Delaynee Butcher, Jessica Butcher, and Katie Ledesam; his twenty-three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
The family will be holding a memorial service on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at the home of Joyce White in Newhope. A potluck will be served.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, 209 North 3rd Street, Glenwood, AR 7193.
