Stevan Jernigan
Stevan James Jernigan, age 61 of Sherwood, passed away August 23, 2015 at Little Rock. He was born on September 7, 1953 in Hamburg, Germany; he was the son of Jack Jernigan and Etta Myrline Goodson Jernigan.
He was a member of American Legion Post number 1.
He is preceded in death by his father Jack Jernigan and his son Patrick Jernigan. Survivors include his wife Luona Bailey Jernigan, he is surrounded with children; Andrea Jernigan, Tammie Lane, Robert Taylor (Elizabeth), Carrie Taylor, Kira Pounds (Jerry). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, his mother Myrline Jernigan, sisters Jackie Jernigan, and Cyndy Ruttley.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 905 Kierre Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72116 with burial following at 12:00 noon at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
