Stephen Stoll

Stephen M. Stoll, 61, of North Little Rock, was called to his eternal home October 13, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in North Little Rock to Charles Stoll Sr. and Marian (Howard) Stoll, Stephen cherished his children: Brandy (mother Alesa Welch Dare), Mark, Bryan, and stepsons Jason (Rachel), Chris and Paul (mother Janet McPherson). He adored his granddaughters, Alexis "Lexi" and Brooklyn Stoll. He was a humble role model to his brothers Clayton Stoll (Liz), Leslie Stoll and Charles "Ed" Stoll Jr. (Kriss), and his little sister, Michelle Stoll (Robby Batte). He was a caring son, survived by his mother, Marian, and her dear companion Charles Hodge Sr. Stephen was a cool uncle and blessed many with his friendship.
A Navy veteran, Stephen played the drums like nobody's business. He loved God, music, motorcycles and his family and enjoyed telling stories about his El Camino and his travels. He was generous, kind hearted, knew the Scriptures inside and out and was blessed with a dry and ready sense of humor. Even as his health worsened, Stephen asserted, "I'm just fine. What can I do to help you?" He brought joy, humor and grace into the lives of his family and friends, and all who love him wait with anticipation for our Lord to reunite us.
A celebration of Stephen's life will be held at 10 a.m. October 27, at First Freewill Baptist Church, 2001 Parkway Dr. in North Little Rock, followed by interment at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock. Family will receive visitors Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the Stoll home, 155 W. Military Drive, North Little Rock. The family thanks friends and family for their support, and offers special thanks to cousin, Russ Tichack (Merritt Island, Florida), and family friend, Marcie Finney (North Little Rock).
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor governments nor things now here nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth nor any other creation will be able to separate us from God's love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."- Romans 8:38-39
