Stephen Hodges

Stephen “Steve” Hodges age 56, of Bismarck, passed away February 11, 2020. He was born in Arkadelphia on October 3, 1963, to Lois Betsy Hodges Canfield.

Steve graduated class of 1982 from Bismarck High School then continued his education graduating from Henderson State University in 1986 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a minor in Psychology. Steve worked the past 18 years as a mutual teller for Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs. He loved fast cars, motorcycles, and the Razorbacks. He enjoyed being outdoors with his nieces and nephew, he started his nephew weightlifting, he enjoyed learning of his Native American Heritage and loved his family, especially his mom.

Steve is preceded in death by his brother Joel Canfield. He is survived by his mom; the love of his life Kim Windsor; his brother Dan (Tina) Canfield of Bismarck, nieces Katherine E. Canfield (Andrew), Harleigh Canfield, Jessica Gilliland (Daniel), and Samantha Simons (Sean) ; nephew Dan Canfield Jr, one great-niece, one great-nephew and his loving aunts, uncles and the entire Hodges family.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home, the family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 p.m.
